Performing in Henson’s Stuffed & Unstrung in San Francisco 8/25-8/27

I’m proud to announce that I’ll be performing in Henson Alternative’s puppet improv show Stuffed & Unstrung in San Francisco in August. I’ll be joining the cast for 5 shows over three nights as part of a run during the SF Sketchfest. Also in the cast…Brian Henson! Yeah, this is a show you should come see and being that it’s a ‘hometown’ show for me, I couldn’t be more excited!

New Commercial Agent!

I’m excited to announce that I’ve signed with a commercial agent. I’m now represented commercially by Annie Schwartz of Origin Talent. Annie, Marc, April and Tim are so great and I’m looking forward to working with them. To reflect this news, I’ve added a CONTACT page to the site. Special thanks to Patrick Bristow for making this (and most things) possible!

Hosted Henson Alternative’s Stuffed & Unstrung

On December 29th, 2010, I was asked to fill in as host of Henson Alternative’s Stuffed & Unstrung. This is the second time I’ve been asked to host and it really was a fantastic time. The show was one of the best I’ve seen, and I’ve seen a few! I even got a mention in THIS glowing review of the show. Big thanks to the cast and crew of Stuffed & Unstrung for all their amazing work on the show and for making me feel so welcome.

There’s currently no shows scheduled, but keep an eye out. You’ll never know when I may rotate in as host (or puppeteer).

New Podcast – Did This Happen?

Because I love working on a million projects at once, on Jluy 4th, 2010 I started a new podcast called Did This Happen? You can listen to it (and subscribe to it) over at www.DidThisHappen.com.

This came about because I really wanted to start writing within a time limit. Something I never really got the knack of while writing for Dr. Floyd. On Dr. Floyd some episodes would be 5 minutes, others would be 8, yet others would be 4. So I really wanted to focus on making each episode of something the same length. The result: Did This Happen?!

These are short, 1 minute, looks at history that are very family friendly and, hopefully, funny. Give the show a listen and tell me what you think.

Wilson & Ditch – Grand Canyon

Well, the final Wilson and Ditch podcast that I edited for The Jim Henson Company and PBS Kids is now out. Wison & Ditch have been renewed for a second season. No word if there’s going to be podcasts or not, but I’ll keep you in the loop if there is. This was a really great experience and I hop you’ve enjoyed listening to them!

Listen to it at the Wilson & Ditch Website here: http://pbskids.org/wilsonandditch/podcasts/index.html#grandcanyon or subscribe via iTunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=350368304.
