4 Parsec Award Nominations!

The Parsec Awards are handed out yearly to recognize excellence in Speculative Fiction (sci-fi, horror, fantasy, superhero, etc) Podcasting. In the past The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd has won 4 Parsec Awards. The 2010 Parsec Award Finalists have been announced and I had a hand in three podcasts nominated for a total of 4 awards.

The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd returns to award contention with nominations in the categories of Best Speculative Fiction Audio Drama (Short Form) and Best Speculative Fiction Video Story.

In a first time nomination, Grant’s Advent Calendar Video Podcast will compete against Dr. Floyd as it has been nominated for a Best Speculative Fiction Video Story award as well.

Also in a first time nomination, The Henson.com Podcast has been nominated in the category of Best Podcast about Speculative Fiction Content Creation.

I’m just overjoyed at this outpouring of recognition and thanks the Parsec Awards and all the folks who click and listen (or watch) to the stuff I produce. Thank you.

New CinematicTitanic DVD – Danger on Tiki Island

In my job as Associate Producer on Cinematic Titanic I get a sneak peek at the movies the Titans will be riffing on. I also get a sneak peek the riffs, though when I see them they are in no way the final stages. It’s not until I get the DVD that I finally get to see the completed project.

Such was the case with the latest offering from Cinematic Titanic – Danger on Tiki Island. Friends, as a fan of the Titans, I have to say this is be their funniest movie to date. There are SO MANY laugh out loud moments. In fact, there is one riff I have rewatched about 10 times so far it kills me every time. I won’t give it away but it’s a riff by J. Elvis as a character simply walks across a clearing.

Anyway, I’m sure you’re thinking, “He’s an Associate Producer on the show, of course he loves it.” Well, the only way you’re going to find out is to order a copy for yourself. Click the link below to do so. Trust me. You’ll love it.
